I am a dedicated lawyer, local advocate, and candidate for the NH House of Representatives, committed to shaping policy that serves the Portsmouth community and beyond.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
NH PUBLIC DEFENDER | 1982 – 1994
- Staff Attorney & Office Manager: Represented indigent clients across all case types from juveniles to felonies
- Homicide Defense Unit: Handled over 50 homicides and tried 10 cases in the central office
- Appellate Defender: Managed over 40 appeals in the New Hampshire Supreme Court
UNH SCHOOL OF LAW | 1994 – PRESENT
- Professor of Law: Over 32 years teaching Criminal Law, Evidence, and Genetics & Law.
